Gunshot To Face

This kid is trying to load an antique rifle and it suddenly blows off in his face.

Clingstone

Clingstone, an unusual 103-year-old mansion in Rhode Island’s Narragansett Bay, survives through the love and hard work of family and friends. Mr. Wood, a 79-year-old Boston architect, bought the house with his ex-wife Joan in 1961 for $3,600. It had been empty for two decades. There are 10 bedrooms at Clingstone, all with indecently beautiful views. The owner runs the house like a camp: all skilled workers welcome. The Jamestown Boatyard hauls the family’s boats and floating dock and stores them each winter in return for a week’s use of the house in the summer.

Roller On a Roller Coaster

Dirk Auer, from Gross-Gerau near Frankfurt, is considered to be the most extreme inline-skater in the world. Wearing specially designed in-line skates, he skated on the Mammoth roller coaster at the Trips Drill theme park in Stuttgart, Germany. What a wonderful life for a pig! Underwater photographer Eric Cheng stumbled across the unusual residents during a diving expedition to the area.

Mammatus Clouds Over New York

In New York City, on the 26th of June 2009, nature showed one of its most amazing spectacles of the sky, the Mammatus cloud. Looking like something straight out of a science fiction movie it hovered there for enough time for all resident New Yorkers to come out on to the street and watch this amazing sight.

Have a look at these amazing pictures I have gathered from Flickr that showcase the evening. None of these are manipulated in any extreme way. In fact, some were actually taken using a mobile phone.
