47-year-old Susan Boyle went from relative obscurity to overnight sensation. The unemployed Scotland native appeared on the popular talent search show Britain’s Got Talent and made the shocking admission that she’s never been kissed but even more shocking was the voice that poured out when she hit the audition stage.
Singing I Dreamed A Dream from Les Misérables, Susan amazed the audience and judges (including a cynical Simon Cowell) with her stunning rendition.
Since then, Susan has become a household name. The unlikely celeb has been receiving press from all over the world. To officially introduce her to America, Today Show hosts Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira sat down with Susan via satellite to talk about her experience, her thoughts during the infamous audition and even got her to sing some of the tune that has made her a star.

There is a lot of chatter going on analyzing why Susan is such a phenomenon. Don’t they know angels walk amongst us? True, such are rarely revealed on such a huge stage. I prefer it a lesson on how the Lord sees His children. Imperfect but for the unmistakable stamp He has place on each one. With that special gift we are made complete. I’ve watched that video at least one million times of the 50 million, and counting. Susan is perfect, and she is an angel.
